I think the headline message is a simple response to climate dtractors, propoganda from Oil Companies, Oil States & Governments.
Burning Hydro Carbon Fossil Fuels is just bad news for our planet its atmosphere and occupants.
Extreme weather events and rapid climate change are now unarguably linked to burning hydro carbons.
Our planets atmosphere simply cannot cope.
Our world took around 300,000,000 years to capture the carbon and store it as fossil fuels which we essentially have put back into our atmosphere through burning, all within 200 years.
Our planet simply cannot adapt smoothly or rapidly enough.
Humans are addiction to oil, the lifestyle it provides and the wealth created for a select few.
This just cannot be sustained.
Other flora and fauna also cannot keep pace with the rate of change.
Our atmosphere reacts with extreme weather events, greater temperature extremes, more stronger winds, melting glaciers and rising sea levels. Once in a lifetime events are now seemingly every year.
Please spread the word. Burning is bad for us, the planet and perticularly so for our Grand children.
Agreed, lots of self interest to overcome and, as you say, the beneficiaries won't give without a big push from people power.
