The Carbon Capture Con Job.

The World produces around 40,000,000,000 tonnes of Carbon pollutants. The UK is putting a very expensive, difficult to do and essentially unproven Carbon Capture at the centre of its policies. To capture how much? 20 million tonnes. Almost a rounding error.

The fossil fuel industry and the governments and politicians who remain in the fossil fuel industries pockets continue to promote and invest our money in this ´´square wheel of Carbon Capture´´. PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE. We have cheap clean and proven alternatives of wind and solar available today.

Lets leave our kids some clean air to breath!

Sadly, even Ed Milliband who I used to think was a capable chap, a climate ally and of doing the simple maths needed to see the overwhelming arguments of not creating Carbon in the first place - is putting carbon capture at the centre of the UK climate policies.

Conclusion he and the government are still overwhelmingly under the Fossil fuel influence.

The other square wheels of hydrogen and nuclear are still being promoted over the blindingly obvious cheaper, cleaner, easier, quicker Wind and Solar energy.

China are close to having essentially free wind and solar energy for the next 30 years. They have already the sun and wind capture systems in place for normal demand. How can the west compete with that? (Most of their normal 1,000 GWh demand is now met with sun and wind, with the polluting coal and gas used as Peaker plants for their 1500 to 2000 GWh peak).
